We need your help to make this year’s Palm Sunday Walk the biggest ever. With the election expected to be held in May it is important that lots of people come to the Walk to show our political leaders that the cruelty must end, and that we want to see justice for refugees.
We are looking for volunteers to help us promote the Walk by distributing leaflets, putting up posters, staffing phone banks and other local activities. We will be setting up local teams to work in particular areas.
To find out how you can help and meet up with like minded people come along to the Palm Sunday Barnstorm Volunteer Info Session on Saturday 23/2/19, 2.00pm to 5.00pm at Trades Hall. (Corner of Lygon St and Victoria St)
We need as many people and ideas as possible so please bring friends and family. If you have never done something like this before, don’t worry!
We will end the day with a practice session to “Paint Carlton Refugee” where we will get out and do some of the activities we will have been talking about during the session.
Book the time in your calendar and let us know you are coming along by registering on the link below. Even If you can’t make it on 23rd Feb, but are keen to be involved, click on the link and we will be in touch with more information about the day.
