20 years: Far Too Long – Rally Against Mandatory Detention

On the 21st of April at 12pm, people from all walks of life will congregate in Johnstone Park (opposite Geelong train station) to protest Australia’s inhumane treatment of asylum seekers. For World Human Rights Day the Refugee Advocacy Network will be organising events to call for the release of refugees, in the Mantra, MITA and all across Australia and offshore.

There will be a hologram projection at the Mantra in Preston from 8pm on Human Rights Day itself (50 people can also be present), and a rally socially distanced groups of 50 across different locations in the CBD from 2-3pm Saturday Dec 12 - that event will be up on Facebook shortly, in the meantime you can register for both covid-safe events here
